Bionorica SE is one of the world's leading manufacturers of phytopharmaceuticals and is active in more than 40 countries on five continents. As a medium-sized, owner-managed company and a pioneer in the field of phytopharmaceuticals, Bionorica also takes its social responsibility very seriously.
This includes ensuring that the company acts in accordance with the applicable rules and laws at all times and in all places (compliance) - an essential and lived part of the corporate culture. In particular, Bionorica's Code of Conduct sets global standards for the conduct of all employees and serves as a binding guideline for daily action. It describes the ethical principles and provides binding guidelines and instructions for each individual.
However, for Bionorica, corporate responsibility also means ensuring full compliance with fundamental ethical values when selecting business partners. The CoC, which applies to us and our employees, is therefore supplemented by a specific Code of Conduct for suppliers and service providers. Among other things, the Code of Conduct regulates the treatment of employees and natural resources by business partners, as well as the obligation to comply with all relevant legal requirements in the context of Bionorica's business activities.
Since 1 January 2024, Bionorica SE has been subject to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG). This law provides a legal framework for corporate social responsibility, which has always been an integral part of Bionorica SE's daily business and a prerequisite for cooperation with business partners.
According to §6 (2) LkSG, Bionorica SE and its management are obliged to issue a policy statement on its human and environmental rights strategy. This also applies for all its subsidiaries, on which a determining influence is exercised. You can read the exact content of the policy statement adopted by the entire Management Board here:
